Re: Dev Alpha C - EMEA has started

I hope, that in Poland it will be UPS or something else, because FedEx in Gdansk (PL) is very problematic...

Re: Dev Alpha C - EMEA has started

So until now only UK and Germany received their DAC's ?

If they were both shipped from UK, that means the DAC's had to pass through Belgium (or the Belgian Air Space). So it will not be long anymore until we'll receive or own devices :-)

Re: Dev Alpha C - EMEA has started

I called Fedex asking if there were shippings in transit to my address and the guy didn't see anything.

So two hypothesis:

- Maybe there aren't currently sent...

- The guy can't see this informations (and I think it's that because it can be a real security issue for Fedex).

Let's hope...

PS: I'm in Belgium too.

Re: Dev Alpha C - EMEA has started

Or maybe he can only see this information when the package arrives in Belgium.
But if you ask me, it is probably because of some security issue, like you said

The Q10 is not launched anywhere so I don't think so...

Re: Dev Alpha C - EMEA has started

I've news from BrandAlliance who are now history.

They sent me this mail :

Hello,
Thank you for your email. For customs reasons, BlackBerry will now be shipping all Dev Alpha C devices outside of Canada. For assistance in updating your shipping address, shipping or tracking inquiries please contact the BlackBerry Developer Relations Team at jamzonesupport@blackberry.com.
Thanks!

So now, it's Blackberry's job, hope it will not delay the shipping more...

Re: Dev Alpha C - EMEA has started

They said from the start that it would take 6-8 weeks...
This week it's the 6th one, so hopefully they keep their promise, and deliver it within the 2 upcoming weeks...
6th week would have been better though, but they will have a lot of work over there i guess...
