Dev Alpha C blackberry protect off?

On logging on www.protect.blackberry.com, i get this message in 'my device' tab

A device isn’t associated with BlackBerry Protect. To add a device to this account, on a device running BlackBerry 10 OS, swipe from the top of the home screen. Tap Settings > Protect. Turn on BlackBerry Protect.

I have turned ON the blackberry Protect but it doesnt show up on this site.

Is this feature disabled on Dev Alpha C?

P.S. - i am using os 10.1.0.1720 sqn100-3

Re: Dev Alpha C blackberry protect off?

Is your current OS a Leaked or Official Dev C OS?

You shouldn't have any problem unless its a Official Dev C OS which they may have turn it off.

It works for me, with this same OS version.

Funny thing: if you want to find the location of the device using webpage, 'gps positioning' icon appears in the top menu on the device - so, if you are sure that you do not have any application which uses gps and you see this icon, it means that someone is trying to find your location
