Re: European Z10 LE variant received

Are you guys from Europe saying that the shinny red device we, Asians, are eagerly waiting for will go directly into our desk drawers instead of in our pockets? unbelievable!! :smileyfrustrated:

Re: European Z10 LE variant received

Waiting for my LE too, but here in France the only Z10 model sold anywhere seems to be the STL100-2, as all our mobile operators are launching their 4G LTE networks.

As i don't asked for the LTE model explicitely, i hope at least that BBRY knows about it... ^^"

Re: European Z10 LE variant received

I wonder what order scheme do they use to deliver Z10 LE. According to BA it's first sent-first received, but it seems to be not the case (at lease in EMEA). Looks like those who wisely sent their devices recently got the Z10 LE first :smileyhappy:

I would have much preferred the correct LTE model, because:

  1. the Qualcomm chipset will be sold a lot more than the TI chipset, providing better compatibility and a better testbed for my apps,
  2. I'm often in places with LTE coverage,
  3. we will be getting LTE on Vodafone here, probably in June,
  4. the chipset in the LTE devices is quite a lot faster,
  5. my carrier officially supports the -2 model.

Re: European Z10 LE variant received

Received mine on Friday, 12.04.

Country: Germany

Variant: STL100-2

Carrier: blau.de

It had 10.0.9.Z<something> OS and no OTA or Link updates available. Updated it to 10.0.10.261 through the leaked autoloader.

Re: European Z10 LE variant received

Country: Austria

Model STL-100-1

Latest OS: 10.0.10.82

Carrier: Use it with T-Mobile Austria, updated wit T-Mobile Netherlands (prepaid card I bought @DevconAmserdam)

Would be happy to update to latest OS. I'm not having any problems with the NO-LTE option :smileywink:

Re: European Z10 LE variant received

Finally got mine...

Could have got it two weeks ago but was on holiday.

Country: UK

Model: STL100-1

OS: 10.0.10.82

BBW not working but apparently this is the problem of the day.

Also tried HD 1080 recording first time display froze and then app crashed, restart seems to have fixed it though.

No, sadly it's not gold :smileywink: as quickly worked out it was an April Fool.

Apologies to those countries that don't practice this bizarre behaviour.
