BlackBerry 10 Limited Edition Trade-up

Hi folks,

While I can understand that the red color can be appealing to some people, in my opinion, judging from the images that I've seen, it is too strong a colour for me. Would it be possible to get a normal Z10 in lieu of the limited edition one? I'm a low key kind of guy and flash red isn't my type.

I think you can't choose a color. Since the red is really for devs and the white and black are for consumers

As jelounge, you will likely be able to get a good price on the LE, so if it really bugs you just sell it and purchase a retail Z10.  In fact, if you are sure of this plan, you can run off and grab a Z10 now (assuming you are in a country where it has launched) and just recoup your costs when you get the LE

Even though I also prefer the matte black, the LE is something special and far too cool and unique to sell it.

And the Flip Shell should do a great job giving me a matte black cover...

Just get a case to cover it up; people will probably be selling skins online for the Z10 anyways, and you can cover up the awesome Ferrari Red!

I have the red one, and it is awesome. Wish it was available for consumers. The red and black is really unique and stands out. Photos do not show how cool it really is.

From what I recall seeing in the crackberry unboxing of the limited edition, it comes with an extra black matte finish back cover. So if you dont mind the red/black combo, problem solved!

That's the special back cover for "Elite" members (who have already gotten their LE devices). I'm pretty sure it won't be in every box.
