it got picked up.

I told them that it starts when we plug the device to pwer source :smileytongue:

 

But they still were not picking it as total value printed is $550 in Invoice

and they only ship upto $499.

 

I asked them to try and ship it.

I also gave them the tracking number of the device that was shipped earlier by one of our friend

who posted earlier on the post. That was agreat help as I asked them how can you ship one device and reject another

same !!!

 

They still say they can't guarantee delivery.

 

I am hoping it gets delivered.

I have droped mail to RIM regarding the same.

I was able to ship device via UPS Drop Off option. And device reached to Hong Kong successfully. But then after I received mail from UPS stating "THE RECEIVER DID NOT WANT THE ORDER AND REFUSED THIS DELIVERY".

 

Don't know whats going on there, I also wrote to support for same on 16th Feb but I yet not get any reply. Now don't know where's my Dev Alpha device and how to get it back. Its very frustrating.

 

Is there any body with same issue?

I had the same problem. Immediately contact customerservice@brandalliance.com to resolve the issue.

I did same, mailed to customerservice@brandalliance.com first but didn't got any reply. So, I mailed bbjamsupport@brandalliance.com and clientcare@brandalliance.com but yet not get any reply.

 

But I again mailed them today. Let's see what happen.

I am seeing status as 

 

"The receiver requested a hold for a future delivery date. UPS will attempt delivery on date requested."

 

I think it has reached HK :smileyhappy:

Yeah it will work... Mine also worked like that.. It will take nearly 7 days to get confirmation mail from UPS that it is delivered with the name if a person who recieved it... I am really hopeful to get a bb10 le by mid of march..

Steps 1: schedule a pickup from UPS

Step 2: tell UPS guy that this is a demo device and you are returning it.

Step 3: tell a lie that it is not having any battery and it runs only when plugged in to power source.

Step 4: in case of issue with total amount in invoice, asked them to send it any way and give reference to tracking numbers like mine.

Step 5: Wait and pray :smileyhappy:

 

@tab4u : the only issue I am facing is moving from Java to C++. Do you have any book or doc that can help me understanding the new BB framework?

Right now I am using either Android or only QML for developing BB10 apps.

I know basic school level C++ but has no experience of it in IT world !!

Finally my Device delivered too. Tracking #1Z8832VR8693985389.

 

I used UPS Dropoff option. Didn't faced any issue with Battery and invoice. I only wiped device before shipping.
