BlackBerry 10 Limited Edition Trade-up

I'm qualified to trade my Dev Alpha for the Limited Edition and already received the shipping label. However, before I package the device, I realized I need the device to test my VoIP app. It can't be tested on simulator because audio hardware is required. My app should be done in around 4 weeks. My questions are:

1. Am I allowed to keep my dev alpha until I finish my app without losing my trade-up qualification?

2. If so, will the shipping label still be valid after 4 weeks?

If you dont ship your dev alpha out, they wont ship the LE to you. I think they do have a timeframe.

Probably contact the shipper. LE will not ship for 6-8 weeks, so you could be out of a device for that time frame. RIM has suggested to wait in shipping the dev alphas until the LE are planned to ship. So worse case, you would be out of a device ~1 week.

I have received the UPS shipping label already. Does the label have any expired date?

Contact the shipper. Likely not, but best to ask them.

As mentioned you will not receive your Limited Edition device until you return the dev alpha however because the ship time on the Limited Editions is still a little out you don't need to return the dev alpha right away you can with until end of Feb. if you want.

The shipping labels will not expire.
