Hello,
I recieved a Dev Alpha B phone for BlackBerry's Port-a-Thon, and I've filled out the form on the website https://developer.blackberry.com/limitededition/
I haven't yet recieved a reply from BlackBerry about this, should I just wait for a message from them, or can I
proactively send the Phone back to BlackBerry for an upgrade?
Thanks all!
Fiach

You should wait for the confirmation e-mail, with instructions on sending it back including the shipping label.

Once your app is approved, you will get confirmation email and another email, how to return the device!

Hi All,
Yes, I just recieved this email from Blackberry:
Congratulations! Your BlackBerry® 10 application has qualified you to participate in the Limited Edition trade up program.
So, now, just waiting for UPS to pick up my phone. I think I'll miss my Dev Alpha!

After I contacted them by email, I immediately got a reply and now also the shipping papers.
It seems my request somewhere got stuck.

I posted back my Dev Alpha via UPS, as instructed, but no sign of the new BlackBerry Z10,
I contacted BrandAlliance, who are handling this trade-up program for RIM, and they said
"In regards to the Dev Alpha C trade-up device, the delivery of the replacement is expected to be 6-8 weeks from BB10 launch."
- Would have thought it would be a Z10 not a Dev Alpha C?

AFAIK it is suposed to be the red Limitted Edition Device. (I would prefer the black one because it its back not glossy, but I saw that there might also be a black back cover incloded which would be cool).
I am wondering if they mean the world launch day end of Januarry. In Switzerland the launch started yesterday AFAIK.

Looks like BrandAlliance is handling both the LE and the Dev Alpha C shipments, and the person answering the mail got confused. It's looking like both devices will ship out around the same time.
