You can register for the Limited Edition device any time as long as you are using a app that was submitted to AppWorld before Jan 21.  The other option is you can register now for the Limited Edition and the registeration will remain in the queue until your app is approved in AppWorld then will be tested for Limited Edition.

I did contact them and got a canned response saying that wait times may go beyond the targeted 7 to 10 day period.

 

Just got a notification from a tester that my app is crashing on their test device. He didn't provide any real details. I guess submitting more than 3 weeks in advance of the 21st wasn't quite enough time.

 

Hopefully my case is the exception rather than the rule. I'd like BB10 to have a robust selection of apps along with an enthusiastic corp of developers. While I'm sure things will calm down after launch, things do seem a bit frantic right now. :smileyhappy:
