You can submitte your app before 21st and then select to trade up after you receive your dev alpha. So I think 21st is the deadline of submitting apps.

What should we do, if we submitted app during todays portathon, and it stays in pending review after 21 January? Right now, i have 2 apps which are in pending review state more than 10 days.

I applied for the tradeup program right after I submitted my app. Will that be a problem? I just assumed my request would be queued until the app is in approved status... It wasn't made clear at submission time.
Does this mean that if I have an app already approved I can apply for this AFTER I get my dev alpha device? (I have 16, some of which were entered in the port-a-thon)

In that case, would it be possible to have the official BB10 device shipped directly since there is no point in sending a bricked device across the atlantic and back only to send another device?
