I registered for a Limited Edition Verizon device, and then later recieved an email informing me that they will instead send a '4G' device. What does this mean? At the time I joked that I expected them to send me a WiMax Hot-spot, but the truth is that this responce could not be more vague...
Are the sending me the standard Limited Edition device (without support for Verizon networks) or are they sending me the (non-limited edition) standard Verizon Z10?

Bascily, You are going to get an "off the shelf" Verizon branded model.
Both the LE and the Verizon are the same hardware except of the the antenna and trim. I'm pretty sure everything else is the same.

An off the shelf model would be fine, but it would be nice if BlackBerry would clarify this...

I don't think I ever got an email saying we were getting 'a 4G device'. Is there any way to check on this?
If Verizon means getting a regular off-the-shelf phone I would like to change this. I'd switch carriers to be able to use the LE device. No problem.

A copy of the email I got is at http://www.berryreview.com/2013/01/22/blackberry-1
Truth is, out of all the devices that BlackBerry (and other companies) have sent me, I have yet to get one compatible with Verizon's network...

I'm kind of lost. I remember getting the email that I was approved for the LE device but I can't find it anymore. All I still have is my Dev Alpha shipping label.
Is there any way to even find out what's in the system for me when it comes to the LE device?

A clarification from BlackBerry at http://devblog.blackberry.com/2013/02/limited-edit
Personally I have yet to get a shipping label from RIM, but given that I don't expect to see a device until mid-March I don't mind holding onto my DevAlpha for another week or two...
