Received from where?

Are you a developer?

I'll ask a moderator to move this to the BlackBerry® 10 Limited Edition Trade-up section of this forum.

Yes, there is. The program is called: change the housing for your DAC ;-)

haha

remove the back cover, you can clearly see that DAC is a real Q10

Re: blackberry apha C developer device

The DA-C is my fave phone but there is no upgrade

If you check the trade-in site you will see that C is explicitly not allowed for upgrade (found this out when my B came thru)

I can't be sure but it appears that the C ain't OLED - well - it is a beta device - so I'd put it more in the Q5 range

Re: blackberry apha C developer device

It is OLED because on the sun the screen looks the same as on Galaxy S3 and worse than on Z10 (LCD).

Re: blackberry apha C developer device

There is no trade up for DAC yet.... But it is expected to come soon as BB will not let Develoeprs keep the developer device. Will give something in its trade up.

Re: blackberry apha C developer device

Still you can convert it into a Q10 :smileyhappy: The Hardware specs of Q10 and DAC are same.

You can get a Q10 housing from Aliexpress at around $90.

Re: blackberry apha C developer device

You can get it for 23$ from AliExpress, but there are no NFC antenna on back cover, no speakerphone, no buttons on middle bezzel, no led flash, no camera lens covers and no internal antenna. All this parts are on DevC and if you are skilled with your hands, you can take them out from original DevC case and put it back on new one, including peeling off NFC antenna. I successfully converted my DevC, and two others from my colleagues with this case from aliexpress. Everything works, including NFC and all for 23$.
