Maps will work but you have to dismiss the "My places data is currently unavailable" about 13 times. You'll need a GPS signal which may not be detected for some mnutes and not at all if you are indoors in some places.
Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn do not work and they don't intend to make them work. Yahoo Messenger doesn't work, nor BlackBerry Bridge. Someone was saying that FourSquare can't be downloaded, but I downloaded it and it appears to work. (I haven't had a Wi-Fi signal other than at home and haven't tried to check in anywhere.)

@BlackBerryDev hi. what's up with twitter/facebook/linkedin apps?
@zvjer ^MS They are not supported on the BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha.

LinkedIn messages are invoked directly from the hub. The LinkedIn app itself does nothing useful on my Dev Alpha A.
I'm pretty sure that Yahoo Messenger used to work until the latest OS update, but it doesn't even open a window or frame now.

@xtremesniper Unfortunately, DevAlpha’s do not have Facebook or Twitter support. We have no current plans to add these. ^SH

@soaman, you're probably right about the memory limitations. I imagine it takes a lot to keep the inbox open and run some of the social apps at the same time.
