Can't delete multiple texts

I don't know whether my phone has a flaw and needs to be returned or if this is a bug of sorts. Cannot delete multiple texts either by touching the date above and "deleting prior" or using the trash icon on the right pane. It will ask "Are you sure you want to delete prior" but nothing happens. Someone save me a visit back to the ATT store! Much thanks! PS My Bolds 9900 and Torch did this and the function is there so why?

Here is a KB that discusses that error:

  • KB33757 SMS/MMS does not support 'Delete Prior' on the BlackBerry 10 smartphone
