My Z10 shut off itself almost twice in a day and its happen everyday....

 Hi guys,

 

I just wanna share and say that I'm totally dissapointed with this new product, its not common for gadget that we called smartphone. My Z10, after about a month usage, it started to get trouble and error every where which are :

- The screen always goes dreary slowly and then its shut Off, and I must remove the battery more than three times, then the device start again.

- BBM offenly restart by itself, and Re Invite again in all groups BBM I have.

- the Camera suddenly stop working and the device goes Off

- The signal is totally unstable

- The battery is suck, twice until three times a day I must charge

- etc.

 

That is really annoying and not worthed for a gadget that we called smartphone, actually I like with the new style "peek to see the hub motifications" but all that problems above really annoying.

 

Please is there anyone that can help me with that issues. Thanx.

You've gotten a bad device, and being that new, I'd honestly suggest that you simply exchange for a new device from the seller.

 

If you can't, a device wipe and new load the OS or an upgraded OS should fix most of those issues. If you need help with that, please post back here.

I am using STL 100-1 software release 10.0.10 58, do you have any recommend to which OS I should upgrade? Thanks

Oh my Z10... why do you let me down... I have waited for a year more since the rumor that RIM will release you...

OS 10.1 is the process of being released this week and over the next few weeks.

 

I'd upgrade to that, or if you cannot do so now, I would recommend wiping and reloading the most recent available to you.

Do I Have to back up all of my bbm contact first? And do you have any recommendations to what series of OS I should reload/upgrade my OS since the 10.1 still not released yet. Thanks

I would ALWAYS recommend a full backup of your settings, media and app data before any upgrade.

Yes, you will want to restore that data afterwards.

 

If your contacts are specifically synced via an email service such gmail or yahoo, they should sync back upon setting those accounts back up on the device.

 

I would recommend the latest official OS you have available. There are leaked OS you can try if you so choose.
