I think in the UK I've only seen the 4g sold sim free. But it's not cheap.

DYK: The carphonewarehouse site front end only sells PlayBook 32GB (£169 - was £189)
DYK: Go via http://uk.blackberry.com/playbook-tablet/where-to-buy.html and get the PlayBook 64GB from them for only £128!
