Re: Upgrading OS10 devices using Autoloader

After any OS upgrade on a BB10 device, it will take 48-72 hours for the device data syncing of email, contacts, social apps, etc., to complete and finish. High data transfer after an upgrade cause high processor use, which in turn causes high battery usage. Likewise, high processor use will cause some lag and initial slowness. Ignore and and be patient. It can take the 48 hours for all contacts to sync back to the device. And, the battery will recover after a few days. Just don't drain your battery to 10% or less each time, top off the charge. You'll notice a difference after a couple days.

So, one thing to do is simply reboot the device and let ignore issues like mail not marking read for now. The device is syncing and will settle down in a few hours.

Re: Upgrading OS10 devices using Autoloader

Hey Jsanders, I began installing leak 10.2 and all was fine until the 1925 leak. Where now randomly my audio tags do not appear when bluetoothed to my 2012 Honda Civic LX. I would like to downgrade to the 10.1 MR so that I can officially upgrade to 10.21 from Rogers. Can you please point me to the correct auto-loader?

Since I have tried connecting it to my BlackBerry Link and doing a reload (issue still persists), It is a minor annoyance but one that does exist. Thanks!

At the top of this thread are the autoloader files for 10.2.0 and 10.1.x

Re: Upgrading OS10 devices using Autoloader

Doesn't restoring it after the update also downgrade the software, or does it just return all my settings and files

No.

The restore affects your personal data and preferences, not the OS itself.

I would not be so silly to post instructions to upgrade the OS only to restore the old OS on top of it.

No.
