Re: Upgrading OS10 devices using Autoloader

Unclear whether you can make return of the previous operating system, you have to connect your smartphone to the computer and open BlackBerry Link, on the part of preference says to recharge the system to factory and you expect to it to give directions and ready has his team in its state of factory

Re: Upgrading OS10 devices using Autoloader

Sweet thanks!

I want the battery life back and the ability to shut down applications, easier to answer phone interface and a few other things that worked a lot better before the update.

Bedside mode means I don't get any notifications right?  Might as well turn it off then.  I need to get notifications throughtout the day/night.

More better would be the ability to auto turn on/off like the older OS had, good for saving battery life too.  There are about a dozen options the old BB OS had that I wish OS 10 had.  Not sure how with a "newer" OS there are less interface options, but based on this latest "update" I can see BB isn't working with a full deck.

Still can't wrap my head around an OS "update" release that uses 2x the battery life...

Thanks again for your help, I'll let you know what happens with the reload.

Well, that's really not the discussion for this thread, but it doesn't.

Likely something else is draining your battery... PIM services, an Android or other app...

Re: Upgrading OS10 devices using Autoloader

Uses 2x for me with current update...

No apps on the phone.

I just deleted and readded all my PIM accounts (three email accounts total) based on some of the earlier discussions and you helping someone else on another thread.  I don't do FB, Twitter or ANY other online/social/sharing stuff, I hardly even use the browser.

I don't even use the WiFi much either so it stays off.

I have noticed a few times recently my pop account doesn't grab the email, I have to turn the phone off and then on to get the latest emails.  Another new thing from the last update.

If I can get the battery thing under control I can live with the other stuff.

Not sure why I did the update, should have known better really.  Guess I got caught up in the fact that the OS that I was running was so awesome I didn't think it would be altered in such ways.  Silly me!

No apps on the phone?

Nah. Show me a screen shot of your Device Manager > App Manager screen...

Any way, this is all offtopic in this thread. Please create a new thread.

Re: Upgrading OS10 devices using Autoloader

I still have problems to reload my BB Z10. What I did:
1. Tried BB Link, Preferences, Reload, then I need to wait for Checking BB Device Software. But this takes ages... maybe no connect? My BB state: green LED
2. Using Autoloader, seems to connect, one line shows up, state my BB, green LED

After both options I did, nothing appears or happens on my BB. I got the error bberror.com/BB10-0015

What can I check and do?

The green LED has nothing to do with the upgrade process or connection to the PC.

So tell me what state the Z10 is now? What's on the screen, does anything work?
