Z10 ActiveSync Issues (10.2.1.2141) with BES Server BES 10.1 (Bundle 69) after some days

Hello,

we are having the following problems.

We are using Z10 (10.2.1.2141) Devices configured by BES 10.1 Server with Active Sync.

The ActiveSync connections can be established properly. i can work about one day with such a device without any problems... after some time the device ist not syncing any more with activesync: no new mails are coming, no mail can be sent ...

after restarting the device everything is fine and the device will work for the next days until the problem reappears...

are there any known issues or bugs with Z10 and BES10.1 Server with ActiveSync ?

Thanks for Help.

Best,

Martin

Re: Z10 ActiveSync Issues (10.2.1.2141) with BES Server BES 10.1 (Bundle 69) after some days

maybe it be best to update to BES 10.2 which is a free upgrade

I have no one comlaining about email here with that OS.

Also you could have a corrupt contact or calendar entry that can cause it too

Start with this.

In outlook Make a new folder for contacts called backup

move all contacts to the folder and wait for all to be removed from device

then pull battery on device and put back in

After device boots move contacts from backup to the contacts folder and wait for them all to appear

Make a new contact in outlook and see if it gets to the device.

highlight calendar
goto file import/export
choose export to file
choose Persoanl folder pst, next
make sure calendar is highlighted and choose subfolders if you have them, next

save to desktop with a name you can remember, Finish
Click ok on screen popup

Go to view, arange by events
delete all entries.

close outlook and any word files, open outlook back up after 15 seconds.

Then
goto file import/export
import from another program or file, next
choose Persoanl folder pst, next
find the file and import
Choose highlight calendar and Finish
Change view back to what you want and try again.
