Set how long the device stores messages

Hello,

I would like to know if with the z10 is possible to define the period during which all messages will be stored. With my blackberry bold 9700 I used to go under Messages then press the menu button then options then Message Display and Actions and finally under the option "days to keep messages" i could select the number of days.

Many Thanks

Regards

Sandro

Re: Set how long the device stores messages

Hey sandrosem,

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

Thanks for the question.

All messages are kept forever, on the BlackBerry Z10 there is no option to change this.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Cheers.

Re: Set how long the device stores messages

Hello,

Many Thanks for your quick reply and yes I have another question for you on a different topic. Today I received a call which I was not able to pick up so I saw the phone symbol on the home screen with 1 underneath it. Then I went in the hub menu and saw 1 under Hub and 1 also under calls. I tapped on calls and got a list of all calls made, received and missed. The call which I was not able to answer was in bold so I tapped on it thinking that by doing so the boldness would disappear and also all the notifications in the home screen and under the Hub menu but instead the phone made the call directly and the notifications did not disappear. I finally managed to get rid of the notifications by tapping and hold the missed call (still in bold by the way) and then click on the bin symbol. Is this normal or am I missing something?

Thanks Again

Sandro
