Z10 slow to connect Calls

When I go to the call menu and select on a recent number or fav number to call, the phone pauses and thinks, and then will usually decide to not make the call. I try again and sometimes it will connect and most times it wont. Is this just me? my phone will think for up to 20 seconds before placing the call...

Could you provide a bit more information on this issue please so we can better assist?

Are you in an area of good coverage when this happens?

Does this happen for all calls?

Are all the calls made to contacts in your Address Book?

Do you know if you receive any delays connecting when you answer an incoming call?

Yes I am in good coverage. Yes it happens for every call that is to a contact that I select. If I dial the number it connects right away. I do not believe there are delays on incoming calls.

Can you please ask your wireless service provider to open a ticket with BlackBerry support on your behalf so we can investigate the issue further for you and provide a resolution?

I am having the same problem. After selecting a number to call the phone delays 15 seconds before dialing, this occurs on every call whether dialing with the dial pad or selecting a contact. In addition when receiving a call, when I slide to accept the window slides to the bottom of the screen and then remains at the bottom of the screen hovering in place for 10 seconds+ prior to answering. Also when trying to receive calls thru Blue tooth, after accepting the call is instantly dropped..meaning that I can only use Blue tooth if I dial out. Please help!

I have this problem too, its even worse when I dial out on my car phone, there is a long pause before it starts dialing.

 

I also miss the ability to able to delete on handset

I was using the phone for messages and apps only for the first week or so and was beginning to really like the phone. At the weekend I made the decision to switch it as my main phone for calls too.

 

Really beginning to regret that now. Battery is flat within 12 hours and calls takes ages to even show confirm that they are dialling, let alone connect.

 

I think that part of the problem lies with the phone dialler appearing to be an "app" rather than a native function of the phone.

 

At the moment this is making the phone unusable for me and seriously needs addressing.

I have noticed the exact same thing...calls seem to take much longer to connect than on any other phone in the past. .

Have you done the software update that came out at the weekend ? Thats the battery life much better, not perfect but better

It's saying I have version 10.0.9.348 and that I have the latest software.
