keeping email providers seperate

on the BB Hub on my new Q10, both my work emails and my personal (via gmail) emails pop up.

I'd like to have them seperate, maybe with a password for the gmail, so that all I get is the flashing light email indicator when a gmail msg comes in, or similar.

Can't see how to do that, other than switch gmail off and then on to check for msgs - far too clunky!

Anyone any ideas?

Re: keeping email providers seperate

You know you simply touch the work email account only to view only that stream of messages?

Otherwise, I am not aware of another way to turn off the gmail account other than what you are doing.

Re: keeping email providers seperate

Thanks, but I'm realising I'm not being as clear as I should be.

I wasn't actually referring to a "work" email address as Blackberry know it, rather simply 2 email addresses.

So, maybe a better way of putting it is, can I exclude 1 email address from Blackberry Hub?

Absolutely!

  • Open your Hub.
  • Touch the bottom right three dots overflow icon.
  • Touch Settings
  • Touch Hub Management
  • For the email account you do NOT want to see in the Hub, turn it off.
