As you have discovered, they are not universal...the placement of the magnet sensor differs among BB models. Hence, you need to shop for a case that states it is 100% compatible with your specific BB model number...don't buy anything else. There are many manufacturers of cases, including many 3rd parties. Shop with care.
Sorry, but I can't give you a model number...what a "case" is to me might be totally different than what it is to you. You need to do your careful shopping.
