I've got a remote stereo gateway and have been using it reliably with my Sony laptop with Windows Vista. I recently upgraded to Windows 7 and now the gateway won't connect. I've tried looking for a updated driver with no luck. I've already removed and re-installed and the computer does see the device.

to a google search for "bluetooth a2dp windows 7"
the blackberry music gatgeway works with windows using "a2dp" which microsoft didnt include drivers for. you have to download drivers from another manufacture and then it will work. instructions are everwhere, and the problem is with ANY bluetooth headphones, which is what the computer will see the blackberry streo music gateway as really.

I thought the same thing, but I installed the Widcomm stack and still no dice. It pairs, but does not ask for a passcode(?), and the subsequently it will not connect.

Try with passcode "0000" (without quotes), usually thats the default passcode for headsets and audio gateways.

I had the same problem. Go to this website
download the gateway driver even though you might not have that make.
pair the device...
let me know how it turns out
