I just bought an OS2 Playbook and have started looking for a bluetooth keyboard. I've seen a variety of posts here on a number of products, Targus, Verbatim, and I've searched Walmart and they have one for sale.

From what I've seen, most of these bluetooth keyboards are a bit of a bust. I would like to be told otherwise..

Any suggestions, recommendations would be great!

Two keyboards come to mind. First is Nexxtech's bluetooth keyboard (works great) http://bit.ly/xcV2vg

The one I use is HP's touchpad bluetooth wireless. Works great http://bit.ly/w9JhhI

If you want better portability, then Id suggest something like this, but I hear intermittent signal is an issue http://bit.ly/wdj0AZ

Also, I know that Apple's keyboard and magic mouse work wonderfully with OS2 but can be quite pricey. 

All in all, keyboards are great for longer-ish emails using the tablet. 

With a micro hdmi hook up for your PB to hook up to a bigger monitor is also a great option to expand the keyboard and the PB's usability.

 I bought the keyboard in Canada at the Source for $109 ( a bit steep) but I think you will like it too as I do. It allows remote control the easy way. Set-up takes a minute and away you type. It is custom made for the Playbook and comes with a fitting case (see video).

If one uses the DOS shell in the PB one needs a keyboard. Click the like button if this helped you. Thx,matt

Do we have an official list of compatible keyboards?  

I want to use a full size keyboard and mouse with the mini hdmi to my 24" monitor.  I don't own a BT keyboar but I do own a logitech g700 mouse.

I was thinking today about the state of BB.  Believe it or not they hold (barely) over half the smartphone market share in Canada, and 17% of the smartphone market share globally.  How could they possibly be having problems?  

Then I think about Toyota and those accelorator concerns.  It was found that the aledged accelorator concerns were pretty much just that, aledged: http://www.caranddriver.com/features/its-all-your-fault-dot-renders-verdict-on-toyotas-unintended-ac...

I don't think that it's a major stretch to imagine that competitors would want to prepetuate the media slamming on RIM, or that certain interest groups do not like the fact the BB is an extremely secure platform. Both antipating RIMs demise, be it buy out of bankrupt.

Withstanding that,  this is a very sloppy and disconboulated community.  It baffles me, and to believe that any community input penetrates through to this company is likely a very naive notion.

I want to see RIM remain a Canadian champion.  I used to hang out with UofW linux discussion groups in the 90s.  Some of the members might have had some ties with BBs inception.  That gives me a feeling of a sense of roots and pride.

I just can't make heads or tails as to what this company is doing right now, and as already mentioned,  I feel that there's a media circus (almost boarding on collusion) that wants to see this company flop.

But anyhow, I'm after a BB/PB combo to start using as my home computer.  This will allow me to use my data plan from my cell phone provider.   With BBs higly efficient data compression (which should be a big selling feature and promoted more often) I doubt that I will ever blow over my monthly 5gig limit.  After about 8 months I'll be saving $40 month, and will have unrivaled utility and portability.  

In this economy that means everything to me.
