Bluetooth connection with Lexus and Storm 9530

Been trying to connect the bluetooth in the lexus with the storm.  it connects, then drops the connection.  it does not connect when you turn the ignition on, as it did with Motorola V710....not the car's issue, seems like the phone needs something checked or enabled to fix the issue...it does work, it will connnect, then it drops the call or connection . Any ideas are appreciated.
