Is there any reason why I should not buy the pods/docks from Amazon? I really would like to get 3 (one for work, two for mine and hubby's BB @ home).

it only depends if you judge the Amazon quality of service is enough for you, or of the quality of service from the seller if you use Amazon MarketPlace.

I haev bought 10 Curve docks for me & some friends @ amazon MarketPlace and was very satisfied (I don't remember the name of the seller though).
