Hi there! I love my new Blackberry Playbook ... except for one thing. When I plug earphones into the jack, music/sound is cut out, but I can't hear anything through the ear buds. Yes - the sound is on.
Is there some easy solution to this? I'd like to have it working before my next trip so I can listen to it on a plane!

Do the earphones work on other devices?
Have you restarted the playbook?
Here is the number for playbook support if it still doesn't work.

I'm trying to get Blackberry SUpport on my earphone issue. The 1-877 phone number listed seems to be invalid in Alberta, Canada. I tried to e-mail and received a form letter type e-mail back that said I had contacted the wrong department, or some such. I just tried to e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
Does anyone know if there's a Canadian help number? I tried to call Staples where my hubby bought me this gift, but the young sales person was at a loss to help me.
