HS 700 headset

Unpacked and paired my new HS 700 with my Torch 9850. Will use only as a phone headset. Device will execute some voice commands. My conversation can be heard by the call recipient; but I get no audio in the earpiece. Phone volume is at max. Help!

Re: HS 700 headset

That model really is a good bluetooth headset. I don't know why you're not getting sound.

Do you hear IT, the earpiece speak to you at startup?

If you press the small voice command button on the device, do you hear it?

Re: HS 700 headset

I get no audio in the headset. No pairing instructions, no invitation to "Say a command..." when voice dialing (though the voice dial feature works). It is paired (manually, since I got no introductory audio) and transmitting. The call recipient can hear me. But...nothing in my earpiece.

Re: HS 700 headset

Yea, I think you might need to get an exchange on it then, that's not right.

The volume control ON the earpiece is controlled automatically and from the BlackBerry device, you said you had that turned up already.

Device volume is at max. I have asked the seller for an exchange. Thanks.
