International charger required?

Do I need to buy the International charger  http://ca.shopblackberry.com/Product/BlackBerryPremiumInternationalCharger/ACC-39344-301 to take my PlayBook with me to Ireland or can I use my Premium charger that came with my PlayBook so long as I use the proper plug convertor for Ireland? Does it need a special wattage or voltage conversion? I don't want to blow up my PlayBook, after all?

Please use plain text.

Re: International charger required?

In Canada you use type-A plugs. That is 120V / 60Hz.
In Ireland, they use type-G plugs. That is 250V / 50Hz.

The Playbook premium charger is compatible with the Irish voltage and frequency. All you need is a physical adaptor A-to-G, it costs less than 5EUR and can be bought at shops in airport for example.
