I recently starting having problems with my HS-300 where it would connect, but voice would still be through the phone. My solution was to double-tap the headset after the number was dialed to "redial last number", would would connect the headset.
To solve this, I thought I would remove the device from my phone and re-pair the phone with the headset. However, when I go to pair them, the phone can find the headset (it says Blackberry HS-300 found), but is unable to complete the pair.
EDIT: Reset the phone and was able to connect the headset, with the previous issue resolved.
