I recently purchased a Blackberry VM-605 and paired it to my Blackberry Pearl.
it was working fine until I accidentally deleted the VM-605 from my paired devices list. Now they 2 will not reconncect.
When I tried to search for the device again from my Pearl it is telling me that there are no new devices to be found and the VM-605 just keeps searching and searching.
is there a way that I can reconnect the 2 devices? I do not want to have to return the device and it would be difficult for me because I can't find the receipt seeing as I wasn't planning on returning it.
Also, can you connect more than 1 device on teh VM-605? I also have an iphone and was wondering if i could do that?
thanks

Hi Tina14,
Try the following. Using the BlackBerry Desktop Manager and with your phone plugged into your computer, go to Backup and Restore, then select the Advanced option. On the right hand column, scroll down until you see the Bluetooth Options. Click on this to highlight it, and then click on the Clear button directly below that window. This should clear all of the Bluetooth settings from your phone allowing you to re-pair it with your VM-605 speakerphone.
If that doesn't help, let us know as we may need to take slightly more drastic action. Note, I don't know if you can pair the speakerphone with more than one phone at a time, but you should be able to pair it with your iPhone with no problem. Just put the speakerphone into pairing mode and then search for it using the iPhone. ![]()

Hi,
I have the same problem. I tried your suggestion but still can't pair. When I switch Bluetooth on it asks for the code which I enter as 4 zeros, but it is unable to pair. It looks like my blackberry still has the VM-605 still in there. Can you enlighten me on the more "drastic" action to clear and start again.
David

Thanks Much....
Yes, I"m having the same issue as davidunwinubs13 It seems as the device (VM-605) is still paired with my phone even though it doesn't show on my list as paired devices...I think I'l be needing drastic measures. lol
Thanks Again.
Also, I tried pairng it with my iphone and the iphone just keeps searching and searching and searching...not sure what's happening there.

OK, I think I have Cracked IT.![]()
On the VM-605, Press the FM key (left hand side) and the Volume key Right Hand side for 4 seconds. After 4 seconds the the VM-605 says "In Pairing Mode", you can there search for the device on your Blackberry in Blurtooth mode and it will allow you to pair using the default key of 4 x zeros![]()

Ah yes, the good old pairing mode issue! Sometimes it isn't the phone that's the problem. Glad you got it sorted out!

The VM-605 has suddenly stopped working with my IPHONE. My iphone won't pair with it. I tried holding fm and volume buttons together to initiate pairing. Nothing.
It has been working perfectly up until now.
Advice?
