Vm605-won't pair pressing FM and volume together

I have an IPHONE and like several users it just stopped working after orinally pairing perfectly.

I have tried the advice of pressing FM and volume keys together for 4 seconds after switching device on. It won't announce "pairing mode"

What can I do to fix this and re-pair with my iphone?
