Nothing more has been said as of yet.
I'm pretty sure when it is, you'll hear about it within at most about 2 days through the regular channels, even if you don't ask here. (Unless you ask every day, in which case you have a chance of hearing about it here sooner, though then you might as well just check the forum yourself each day. ;-) )

Tic...tic...tic... 11 days until launch. I don't think we're going to be able to get ads on our free playbook apps before launch given the time required to modify the app, test, sign, upload, and get approved.![]()

Looks like we won't be making any money from our free apps at launch...

It would have been nice to be able to include ads on free Playbook apps. I wonder if the hold up has anything to do with the fact that you are not guaranteed a persistent connection on the wifi-only Playbook. I assume that the advertising SDK serves up banner/links that bring the user to a webpage based on the link.
On my iPod touch, games with ads do not display ads if my wifi is disabled or I'm using it in an area where I'm not connected to wifi.

Hi all.
I am interesting too.
Any update?
I think that when ads are avalaible in webworks, then, we will be able to ad them into playbook apps.
Thanks, kind regards.
