I have some app generator apps recently made and as a test set some of them with advertising. I was mostly curious as to how many impressions would result in income -- any amount of income, even pennies.

But I see no impressions listed at all.

Are ads even working for App generator apps? Were we supposed to set them for webos  in the ad service (what I had read) or some other format? And based on income others have listed, is there even a point to setting them up for ads at all? A yearly income of a couple of pennies wouldn't exactly be worth the trouble.

Yes they are working but fill rate is fairly low at the moment. It can take a while for your app's fill to increase as well.

You can check your ad services dashboard to see if you have requests coming in, this will let you know that you have configured your app correctly.

The odd thing is, requests are coming in, but no impressions at all. My app generator apps have been up for around a week, and I see:

352 requests
0 impressions
0.00% Fill Rate
0 clicks
0.00% CTR
$0.00 eCPM *

Shouldn't there be some impressions? Any impressions? I realize it's a small amount of requests, but thought I'd see some impressions show up.

352 is fairly low, there is a default threshold that needs to be crossed before real ads will be served, I believe this is set to 1000. With time you should start seeing fill.

I have an app created with BlackBerry app generator that has hundreds of downloads a day and it's supposed to have ads in it, but I have had zero requests/impressions/clicks for months now. I really want to get things fixed or looked at but have no idea what to do. Any ideas?

If you have 0 requests then it likely means an incorrect Zone ID was used when setting up your app in the App Generator portal.

Is there any way I can fix this without resubmitting the whole app over again?

You can email BlackBerryAppGenerator@mippin.com and ask, they would be the best to answer this question. Just in case I would suggest including your desired Zone ID in your email request.
