So our first app with ad support is live and earns money (1$ for the first day!
)
I have checked some of the BBAS statistics :
| Country | Requests | Views | Str | Clicks | Ctr | Earnings |
| UNITED STATES | 232 | 225 | 96.98276 | 21 | 9.333333 | 1.2 |
| GERMANY | 76 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| UNITED KINGDOM | 48 | 17 | 35.41667 | 2 | 11.76471 | 0.07 |
| SAUDI ARABIA | 27 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| VENEZUELA | 20 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| INDONESIA | 12 | 0 | 0 | 1 | 0 | 0.075 |
| UNITED ARAB EMIRATES | 11 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| CANADA | 10 | 10 | 100 | 0 | 0 | 0.035 |
| MEXICO | 10 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| FRANCE | 9 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
It seems strange to me that ads are actually served only for USA, Canada and UK. For all other countries there are no ads. I have two beta testers (one in Germany and one in Venezuela), both wrote to me that they see ads and they click on the ads, however this is not counted in the statistics.
And if you look at the Indonesia row - there is 1 click, although no ads view is counted.
Any thoughts or ideas?

Can you ask your testers if they saw different ads? We see the same SINGLE ONE ad again and again day after day. In real deployment, there won't be much clicks if no ad change.

It sounds like you're still in test mode. If you're done testing with the simulator and want to go live send an email to support@millennialmedia.com to make the request.

I exceeded the 1000 impressions benchmark (when test mode changes to production mode); I sent email request. But still see single same ad all day, everyday.

Can you PM me your name, company, application name and Appid so I can look into this?

Test mode higher CTR which is understandable. I have seen mine at ~0.5%.
Some statistics data (quite reliable based on big number of views).
3 days data:
US ad fill rate: 99.92%
Canada: 10.34%
UK: 19.02%
All other country: 0%
Yesterday:
US ad fill rate: 99.96%
Canada: 0%
UK: 46.67%
All other country: 0%
Today (so far):
US ad fill rate: 100%
Canada: 0%
UK: 90.60%
All other country: 0%
In all cases, per click revenue is about 5 cent per click. To estimate your revenue potential:
Estimated Revenue $ = 0.05 * CTR * FILL-RATE * app-access-times
If you have 10000 app-access-times per day in US, it would be roughly (assuming CTR 0.5%):
0.05 * 0.5% * 100% * 10000 = $2.5

Thanks for sharing this info ![]()
It seems that we have to count only on the US market (and small amounts for UK and Canada), since ads are not served to any other country. It's a pitty, because that's only 50% of the app users (in my case).
I have already asked MileniumMedia about the ads distribution for countries different than the above three, however still no response ![]()

Hey guys,
Stats does not seems to work or at least just in parts, look at my numbers. I got clicks in Australia, Indonesia ... without views, therefore having a 0% or low Fill rate. Also, in Umpire section, if I look at the detail section, Millennial is the only one who actually generate revenues no mather if there is a click or not, Mojiva and RingRing don't paid.

CTR 16%~30% is really high, meaning every 1 in 3~5 visitors would make one click. I have never seen this rate in Adsense or similar programs.

So, there's no money in this unless you're Angry Birds or some other top app? Didn't Birds report making $6 million a month or more from ads on iPhone and/or Android?
I've got a couple of apps that would be DL'd maybe 1000/day and used maybe 3x a week for a short time. I don't anticipate many clicks, just a lot of views. That app makes about $50/day as a paid app, should I just leave it?
How fast do the ads come up after the banner is created? i.e. Would an app that's used only briefly get fill rate?
