Here are a few suggestions to really give your app a boost:
1) Make it BBM integrated - this will help with a viral distribution effect

2) Nominate your app to be featured on App World:
https://bdsc.webapps.blackberry.com/devzone/appwor
See the section starting with "Can I nominate my application to be featured in the Featured Items section on BlackBerry App World?"
3) Most importantly, if your app is well made and easy/fun to use then people will find it.
If you follow 1 and/or 2 and 3 you should have no problem getting tons of downloads ![]()
It also never hurts to send a tweet out to the @BlackBerryDev community to get the word our either ![]()

A month ago I was told by email that my application would be featured this week at app world but it is not. I did reply asking why yesterday but still not answer. I neither understand why some apps are featured for weeks while many others never get it. I find this very unfair for freelancers or small development companies.

is there a clever point in time to submit it for it being featured?
in the section of FAQ there is something about criterias and it states the app should have positive reviews.
i have only one review yet (5stars) should i wait for more votes so it gets taken seriously?
if it gets declined, can i submit it as often as i want in the future?
i'm talking about "GeoGenius HD" if someone wants to check it out ![]()
it's a country guessing game offering single- and multiplayer mode and several difficulties.

There are so many ways to promote your new apps. Some best apps are as under..
1. Submit to App Review/Directory Sites
2. Press Release
3. YouTube video/Review
4. Twitter
5. Blogger outreach/Blogging
6. Get reviews of your app placed at such sites as AppStoreApps.com, AppSafari, 148apps.com, AppCraver, iPhone Application List, AppShopper and AppRater

I'm actually pretty interested how other developers are doing this as well, so far the suggestions above sounds great.....however, I've checked out all the sites and they're all Android or Apple review sites![]()
Does anyone know of BlackBerry app review sites?
I know of bb10apps.com but that's about it.
Lets start a list!
