Hi,
I had tested my app by seting testMode = true.
Test ads were coming.
I have released my app in app world but I am not seing any ads/banner showing!
I checked my ad service portal.
I didn't put my app link there.
So I have now put link to my app from BB APP WORLD in that field.
Is this the reason I am not seeing any ads???
also, under app feeds, all service providers are non editable showing as READ ONLY !
what is the use of app feeds and how can I edit these?
What is the use of siteID showing along with zoneID ?
I have used my zoneID in the code and still no ads coming ![]()
Thanks

Hi Abhinav,
Ads can take a few weeks to start filling. The initial period lets the ad providers work with your requests and get feeds ready for you.

Same issue here!
The ads load with the test zone id, but not with ours ; (

If your account is new then this is expected, there is a trial period. You can contact the Ad Services team if you would like to get switched over to production, but after that it could still take a while to start getting fill ramped up.

So are you saying that we are going to lose the opportunity to show ads in the first few weeks, and there is no way we can avoid that?

No, I'm just saying it may take a few weeks to get your Ad fill rate up to a standard level. By performing some beta testing of your app prior to release you should be able to see ads displayed at somewhat regular intervals. It is not a bad idea though to implement ads from various services in a waterfall approach to help increase fill rate as much as possible.

Advertising is all about making the people providing the ads (mediation layer and advertisers) happy. So if you put some good time and thought into ad placement to help increase your click-through-rate (when the user clicks the ad) you will make the ad providers happier and should be rewarded with more ads.
It's a bit of art and science.

Is this true for apps made with Mippin's App generator too?
I've selected to have adservices in my app but nothing is showing up.
As well the App generator does not have field for Zone ID just Site ID. how are they used differently?

The Ad Service has no idea who created the app, so yes.
