Hi,
Knowing that for every event that my application is tracking, the Analytics Library sends a lot of parameters to the data collection server (all the WT.*: app version, device model, device Sw version and many others) in addition to event specific parameters:
How does the Analytics usage impact the user's data consumption?
Do we have some numbers on the data volume (average) used per x Analytics requests?
I'm sure it's no big deal for 1 request, but in some situations (limited data packages, roaming, etc...) we have to be careful about data consumption.
Thx!

I do not believe we have expected data transfer amounts available. I have asked and Webtrends has not been able to provide any. From my understanding the overhead will be minimal. The primary factor will be the volume of data you are sending.
There is no consideration for roaming situations, though if the user has turned off data while roaming then of course this will stop Analytics data being sent. I will suggest to product management that we ask for a configurable option which delays data transfer when roaming. There are many developers who will want data sent while roaming and many who will not.
