Can someone with RIMM please tell me if it is possible to receive notification of some kind when a user downloads the free "lite" version of our software? The issue I have is that in order to track that the software download came from App World and to associate later conversions with RIMM to account properly from RIMM's credit of the transaction, I need to know that the download was activated from the App World so that we can assign a tag when the user installs and registeres the Lite version of the software.
It would be nice if there was some HTTP notification for free downloads as well. Does this exist?
