Hi All,

I've some question related with possibility to distribute paid application from country in which App World isn't supported. I'm from Poland, and this country isn't supported by App World (is possible to download only free applications), so it'll be possible to publish my application in BlackBerry App World in paid category?

I'll be very gratefully for any suggestions or additionally information related with this subject.

Hi,

I am intrested this case as well. Although, as I remember I could chose Poland while I tried to regiester

my account in App World. So It should be possible to sell applications from Poland even there is not local BlackBerry store. BUT I am not sure definetly.

Hi blackbit,

Our solution to the problem of not being able to distribute and sell our app to countries not currently supported by RIM App World is to simply deploy and sell our app in MobiHand.

Although MobiHand gets a bigger cut of your profit, it's still better than nothing.

You suggest doing this as to not lose any potential customers and profit.  Once RIM App World is supported by Poland and other countries, you can simply re-sell it there.
