Want to submit free application

Hi, I want to submit a free application in app world, I have some questions here.

I've read the faq in https://bdsc.webapps.blackberry.com/devzone/appworld/faq and did some google search but I'm confused now.

1. Is it true I have to pay for $200/application even though it's free application?

2. Is it true I need to have credit card/paypal even though I don't intend to receive any payment?

3. I registered a vendor account but I only have single name so I used alias name, after that I received email that I need personal identification card to verify the account. Can I change the name to just single name when sending verification? Does RIM accept personal identification card from my country(indonesia)?

Sorry if this is not the place to ask these things, I can't find how to contact RIM directly.

Please use plain text.

Re: Want to submit free application

1) No. You don't need to pay anything even if you post paid apps. (the $200 fee was removed like an year ago)

2) If you post free apps you don't need PayPal account and credit card. (before you needed PayPal account for vendor regisration, but this was changed last December)

3) Just send your personal identification and don't change anything :smileyhappy: RIM needs your identification to verify that you are a real person. There is a lot of Indonesian developers around so I guess RIM will accept your card.
