[ Edited ]

I got the email yesterday, just be patient. Though, it might be a good idea to check what it says:
"We are writing to inform you that your request for addition to Research In Motion’s vendor list has been received. To complete the process, we require the following documentation:

If you are a Company:
§ Official documentation to validate your company information (ex. Articles of Incorporation, Business License). Please scan or return in PDF format.

If you are an Individual:
§ A copy (front and back) of an official Government Issued Identification, clearly showing your name and date of birth.
OR
§ The completed Notary Form attached. Anyone certified as a Notary can complete this for you (check your local listings).

Documentation can be returned by:
Email: BlackBerryAppWorldRequests@rim.com
OR
Fax: 1-519-883-7724 (Please include cover letter)

*****Please allow 24-48 hours for your account to be processed once you respond with the proper documentation*****

For further information and a complete list of Research In Motion’s criteria for vendor acceptance, please visit https://appworld.blackberry.com/isvportal/guidelines.do .

Thank you for your continued interest in the BlackBerry App WorldTM.

Regards,

BlackBerry App World Team

Re: "Vendor account status is disabled. "

I heard there is a $200 administrator fee that is sometimes waved as a promotion.

Does anyone know if RIM is charging it this week (before Feb 13).

and, by "submitting", does it mean the app needs to be approved to get the free Playbook?
