Cannot clear memory on My App World

I downloaded a few apps,  I didn't not like them, and uninstalled them. In My App World the apps are shown as "uninstalled" but my memory is still being used by them. I don't know how to removed them completely to restore that memory that is being used. Can someone help me please?

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!

 

How, exactly, do you know that the memory is being consumed by those apps?

 

To recover the max memory your BB can have, perform the following:

  • Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.

I'm having that same problem.  I can not get rid of the stuff I have uninstalled.
