BlackBerry App World - General Discussions

I can download free stuff from App World OK but when I try to buy one I can't sign in to Paypal.  It says "There was a problem contacting PayPal.  Please try again later."  Of course, it never works later either.  I know my Paypal login information is correct because it works from my internet browser. Any ideas?

Make sure if your password has capital letters or numbers in it that you are pressing the keys correctly. I had this problem when I first started using the BlackBerry and it was because of a capital letter.

Yeah, cathlabnurse is right.  I still get caught between the shift and alt keys.  Probably a short in the neurons in my brain. LOL

Thanks for the suggestion.  I've checked that.  If I log onto Paypal from my web browser on my Blackberry it works fine.  If I try it from App World with the exact same key strokes it doesn't.

hello,

it's not a password typing problem, because when you type the wrong password or email ,there is a very specific error message. I know, I'm not helping but at least you know you won't have to type it 100 times for it to work. Did you try and install AppWorld 1.1 ?
