The Livestrong Calorie Tracker allerted me this morning that there's an update available.
I went to update the software and it sent me to a web page saying the application is only available through App World.
When I opened App World I found the application and the only option was to Run the program (which simply took me back to the original application).
Is there an option in App World that I'm missing?
In case it's necessary I have a

Hi and thank you for the post.
If you uninstall the application and download it again it may give you the updated version. To uninstall follow the link below. It does reference the BlackBerry 7100 Smartphone however, this applies to 4.1 and newer handheld software.
Also, before you uninstall the application you should see the version. Record the current version, and after you re-download the application go back to see if it has changed. If there are still no changes in the version, I would defiantly alert the vendor.

I am having the same problem
I Uninstalled Livestrong 1.0.44
Now I get a message that my carrier or phone does not support this application.
and it is not avaliable for download.
Now how do I get the old one back or install the new one.
I have a verizon 8330 Curve.
I have had Livestrong on it for months.

It appears that once you are in "My World" in BB App World
You must press the menu button and "Log In"
Then Either install and then Upgrade or just upgrade
It also appears that it does not down load correctly and looks to freeze.
Just exit and reenter App World and it Updates its progress.
Aparently it doew progress but does not update.
