I really don't understand why the most important business reader for Wall Street Journal is compatible with Bold 9981 (Porsche Design) but not with the Bold 9900 when both are sporting identical hardware. Could someone correct this so people can download this popular app to their 9900-series devices.

I also don't get it! I've used the WSJ mobile reader on all my previous Blackberry smartphones but when I jump on the support wagon for the latest and greatest (os7) I can't download my most used application. All other apps work great on the Bold 9900, why can't I download the Mobile Reader? The sad part about this is that RIM does not realize how much they fall behind when their devices don't get support from the popular apps. The guys at work are divided, half will keep their BB (and inevitably read WSJ less), half will buy another smartphone.
And if it is correct that 9981 owners get to download the app but not us with 9900, that's just plain stupid.

I don't understand why the WSJ app worked on my 9900 when I first bought it (last Sept), but since that one died (the hard drive crashed, apparently a "known problem"), I've had 6 refurbished replacements. Now I finally have a brand new one -- after fighting with T-Mobile and Asurion -- and the WSJ app doesn't work anymore. Also, on my previous 9900, I downloaded the app directly from wsjmobilereader.com, Now when I try to do that, it redirects me to the Blackberry App Store, where I get the message that the app is not supported by my device. HOW LAME IS THIS? You'd think that the WSJ would make the app compatible with the newest BlackBerry, especially since it's largely owned by business people who are WSJ's main subscriber? #FAIL
