hello,

several applications are available, depending on your location.

Slacker, FlyCast, Nobex, iHeartRadio, and Pandora

Re: getting radio on my blackberry curve 8520

I too have been looking for a decent radio app (am based in UK) I searched BB appworld for the ones mentioned, and I was interested in the Pandora one (as I looked at it on the laptop) but when I did a search for it on my BB nothing came up. So I came back on the laptop and sent the download link to my BB via email, and it says Pandora isnt compatible with the curve 8520.......

Also, any idea how I can get hold of the iheartradio app please via the BB?

Re: getting radio on my blackberry curve 8520

Hi I have just got a new Blackberry curve 8520 and I tried to download the Blackberry apps world and itsaid that my device radio had to be switched on. HOW?

I tried removing my Battery and that didn't help and I looked in my manage connections all is on and everything!!

And also I did have it once and It said that my network connection was not connected even though my WIFI was on and I could also get on the internet!!!

Also is BBM texting or is it that free thing that you have that can contact all other blackberrys over the world?

Does anyone have the same problems or a have a solution?

Or anyone know why there are so many problems with the Blackbery?????

PLEASE HELP ME !!!

AppWorld works with the cellular network, the same one as the one required for you to make phone calls. AppWorld with Wi-Fi only won't work.

phone calls and SMS are included in your voice plan. It's free until you reach the limit.

email and internet and BBm are included in your data plan. So it's free.

BBm is a messenging system that allows you to send test/pictures to other people using BBm all around the world for free.
