Hello,
I got my new bold and tried to synchronise my data from my curve to it. Now I have no icon for the maps even bold says they are installed.
How can I get bb maps for the 9000 to reinstall them? The 9000 is not supported on the bb website...
regards

I would simply like to know where I can get the maps for my Bold. It doesn't show up and I would like to get the GPS working and since it is not on a mobile plan with data included, I can not download them on the phone execpt via the WiFi (which I have working). Can anyone advise where we can get a copy of BB Maps?

I get the following error when trying to get the maps from BB:
BlackBerry Maps
Unsupported Device
Sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support BlackBerry Maps.
Do you have any other ideas?

Sorry, I didn't check the firmware requirements. BlackBerry Maps download is only available on devices running device software v4.1 or v4.2.x.. BB Bold is running 4.6.x.

The sleek, stylish phone has all the classic BlackBerry hallmarks - from the qwerty keyboard for tapping out emails to the capacity to open and edit documents - but it's also one of the best entertainment devices BlackBerry has produced, with a really good music player and the ability to show videos on the crisp, clear screen.

It doen´t matter which provider soft you download. It works with all provider/carrier.
