I have an old calendar that was put onto my BB9000 when I used the "Switch Device Wizard" that I would like to remove. I also have the calendar that I sync with my desktop that I want to keep. Whenever I open up the calendar on the BB, it shows both calendars....and I just want to remove the one.

You can change which calendars appear at Options > Advanced > Default services.
And you can complete clear a calendar database per the instructions I am posting here:
If you are having errors in your Calendar or Address Book on your BlackBerry, and you wish to delete the entire Calendar (or Address Book) database on your BlackBerry, follow the directions below. Make certain you have a good copy of your Calendar or Contacts elsewhere, as this procedure will complete delete ALL Calendar entries and/or Address Book entries on your BlackBerry.
1. Open Desktop Manager on your PC.
2. Open up Backup/Restore > Advanced.
3. From Advanced you'll see a split pane screen. The left pane is what is going to be backed up from your device and the right is a list of the currently existing databases.
3. Highlight on the right side your Address Book database (or your Calendar database) and click the arrow in the middle pointing to the left. This will copy the information over and prepare it for back-up.
4. Once the back-up has completed, hit the Clear button at the bottom to erase and clean out the entire address book database (or Calendar database).
5. After it's finished, it will ask you if you want to save the back-up you've created, say yes and check the device to make sure the address book (or calendar) has been properly cleared out. Now, resync the necessary contact information and you should be set to go.

Hello,
I have a blackberry enterprise (which is what I use my calendar on) and I have 1 personal account on my blackberry bold.
Somehow my personal account got copied on many of the calendar items from enterprise and has created a 2nd calendar on my bold with many duplicate entries.
I followed your instructions to delete the 2nd calendar but it is grey in the right hand column of advanced screen. How can I delete this personal calendar?

Regarding clearing the calendar database when you are configured with Enterprise, what has worked for my company is to first set the calendar on the phone to not sync over the air (turn wireless sync off in the Calendar's Options), then disable all the network interfaces on your PC that you are syncing with.
You should now be able to connect the Blackberry and clear the calendar database.
Hope this helps!

okay, so i have the same problem but i have more than one calendar
so i have 7 diff calendars that i use in my bb but i generally use one to create my appts
personal - 0
school - 0
work - 0
blackberryemail - 259
facebook - 24
blackberrrygroups - 16
devicedefault - 184
the number to the right would be the number of calendar entries. i just switched from my 8900 to the new 9700. i did a backup and restore, so like everybodyelse some got duplicated. i'd like to delete JUST the device default entries.
i went on my desktop manager and in "backup and restore" under advanced, i see that:
calendar has 259 records and
calendar - All has 483 records
so i just wanna delete my Device Default ones because those are the duplicates and keep all the other ones.
heeeeelp????
