Re: 16 GB SDHC Card not support on BB Bold 9000

Hello,

First, the size of media card your BB can support is not dictated by your BB model...rather, by your BB OS level, as per this KB:

  • KB05461MicroSD card sizes supported by the BlackBerry device software

Second, have you formatted the media card?

  • KB10527Media card cannot be read. Verify that the memory card is formatted

Third, can you test the media card in a different device? Another BB? A media card reader on a PC?

Fourth, have you ever had a media card in this BB before?

Beyond that, the media card itself could be bad or the BB media card reader could be bad. The results of the above will guide you to the root issue.

Good luck and let us know!
